Atlassian
How does a global enterprise ensure that its culture isn’t lost when it scales? What does company culture even mean to the 3K new hires onboarded remotely during a global pandemic? Creative solutions to these questions drive creative support for a Internal Communications designer.
Ship It Refresh
Every quarter, Atlassian runs a 24-hour hackathon called Ship It where—in an embodiment of one of the core company values of “Be the Change You Seek”—Atlassians are invited to collaborate across orgs to push for innovation. This means that engineers are teaming up with people in finance, legal, creative…EVERYONE! The project themes are as diverse as their participants, but the bottom line is the same; people getting together to make the company a better place to be.

Increased visibility of all teams at Atlassian via user-submission system for a pre-GTH countdown video. Before each GTH, teams and individuals were invited to submit content to be featured in the background of the video. Everybody likes to feel included.
Off Script Founder Podcast
Stylistic deviation from Atlassian’s house style; a break from the visual language of work.
Business is business…but is that all we wanna hear when we’re working? Nope.
The Off Script podcast was created for Atlassians to stay connected with company leadership in a super casual, <ahem> unscripted way. CEOs Mike and Scott commit 15 minutes every other week to chat about all kinds of business-unrelated content, from sabbaticals to the back-room dealings of owning an NBA team.
